Fight in West Reading leads to assault charges

A man and woman got into a fight that turned violent about 4:03 a.m. Feb. 19 in the 200 block of Chestnut Street in West Reading. When police arrived the man had left but the woman provided information to identify him. On Feb. 21 police charged the 38-year-old suspect with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.
