Reading man charged with stealing rifle, hunting gear from Wyomissing vehicle

A 22-year-old Reading man faces charges after Wyomissing police said he broke into a vehicle parked sometime in the night of Dec. 9 or early morning of Dec. 10 in the first block of Darlin Drive. The vehicle's owner said a long rifle, hunting gear and clothes were stolen. The suspect was charged Jan. 31 with theft and receiving stolen property and jailed in lieu of $30,000 bail.
