Shoplifting suspect waives preliminary hearing
A Reading man accused of stealing nearly $600 worth of electronics from Sears in November waived his preliminary hearing Dec. 9 before District Judge Timothy Dougherty. He now facs a possible jury tial on two charges of retail theft and one charge of driving with a suspended license. He was released Dec. 9 on $5,000 unsecured bail.
