Wallet stolen from woman's purse in Wyomissing

A woman noticed her wallet was missing about 7:03 a.m. Oct. 26 from her purse. had stored her purse in the warehouse of a business in the 1100 block of Bern Road in Wyomissing. A few hours later, someone tried using her credit cards to buy $663.42 worth of merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Wyomissing. The purchase was declined, as the victim had cancelled her credit cards as soon as she discovered the theft.
