A 42-year-old Reading man who Wyomissing police say sent 22 threatening or harassing text messages in the space of an hour faces a possible jury trial on charges of stalking and criminal mischief. He was initially arrested Oct. 4 after the victim called borough police.
District Justice Timothy Dougherty held two charges of stalking and one charge of criminal mischief for court at the man's preliminary hearing on Nov. 8. The suspect remains in jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
