Man faces charges after giving bogus name to police
West Reading and Wyomissing police were called to break up a fight about 3:50 a.m. Oct. 22 in the 400 block of Penn Avenue in West Reading. When they arrived the fight had ended and the combatants had gone their separate ways. But a man in the parking lot caught the officers' attention. Police noticed he was drunk and when they asked him his name, he lied. He was arrested and taken to Central Processing. He now faces charges that could include public drunkenness.
