Man gets upset when he can't take beer to children's area in Wyomissing restaurant

A manager at The Works called Wyomissing police about 3:46 p.m. Oct. 24 after a customer became unruly. The man was at the restaurant in the 1100 block of Bern Road in the borough with his two sons, who were playing in an upstairs playroom. He wanted to take a pitcher of beer into the children's play area but a bartender wouldn't let him. The manager tried to kick him out and that's when police were called. They arranged a cab for the man and his kids to go home. The trio left without further trouble.
