A West Reading police officer saw a Honda Civic make an illegal left turn about 2:20 a.m. Oct. 3 at Penn and Fifth avenues in the borough. Rather than cooperate, the driver ran away. Police caught the man and took him into custody. He was charged with drunken driving and fleeing police.
