Reading woman charged in use of stolen checks

A woman told police on March 18 that someone stole checks from her in Reading and later used those checks at a Wyomissing store. The store provided the stolen checks and video of the suspect to borough police. On Aug. 14 they charged the suspect, a 25-year-old Reading woman, with two counts each of theft by deception and receiving stolen property.
