Man steals copper from Home Depot in Wyomissing

A man faces theft charges after police said he stole more than $450 worth of copper tubing about 10:45 a.m. Aug. 2 from the Home Depot in the 1700 block of Crossing Drive in Wyomissing. Store security, who said they recognized the suspect, tried to stop him as he left the store with a shopping cart filled with the tubing. Borough police arrested him and expect to charge him with, among other things, shoplifting.
