Police arrest man for drug possession in West Reading

A West Reading man was arrested after a fight about 2:42 a.m. May 23 at the intersection of North Fourth Avenue and Court Street in West Reading. Police went there after hearing about the fight. After they arrived one of the fighters threw some drugs on the ground. Police charged the suspect, a 22-year-old borough resident, with two counts of drug possession and one count each of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.
