Vehicles broken into in West Reading, Wyomissing

A man left his truck parked for 20 minutes in the afternoon of May 11 in the 1000 block of Woodland Road in Wyomissing. During that time, someone smashed the passenger’s side window and took a GPS device worth about $300.

A woman returned to her car about 10:56 p.m. May 12 after a visit to a gym in the 1100 block of Bern Road in Wyomissing to discover someone smashed the driver’s side window and stolen her purse.

Early in the morning of May 13, the owner of a vehicle parked in the first block of South Third Avenue in West Reading discovered someone had broken into it and stolen a GPS device.

About 4:47 p.m. May 14, someone told Wyomissing police a laptop was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Woodland Road in the borough.

Someone stole $300 and a debit card from a vehicle sometime before 10 p.m. May 14 while it was parked in the 1100 block of Bern Road in Wyomissing. The card was later used at two businesses.
