Man damages toilet after date with 'Fantasy' goes wrong

A man picked up a woman at a Douglassville, Pa., bar the night of March 20 and took her back to a hotel in the 600 block of Spring Street in Wyomissing for a party. He told police the next morning that the woman, whose professional name was “Fantasy,” took $1,000 out of his wallet.

Makes sense why he would call police, right? Only he didn’t. Officers learned about the theft because at 7 a.m. March 21, the hotel owner called them to report a guest breaking a toilet that overflowed and leaked water to the rooms below. It wasn’t until after the officers stopped the man, who had tried to slip out and was still drunk, that they learned of the theft. Police said the hotel owner and jilted guest agreed to work out payment for the damage done from the party.

  1. Is it really "picked up" or should it say "hired"? And, are we sure the $1,000 was stolen? Or was it a payment for services rendered?

  2. Well, the guy told police it was stolen, so that's what they reported. As for "picked up" vs. "hired," again, I'm going off of what the dude told police. Which was the actual case only he knows.
