Speeding driver faces drunken-driving charges
A Wyomissing police officer stopped a car about 12:44 a.m. Nov. 4 on Route 12 in the borough for speeding. The driver seemed drunk and a breath test confirmed the officer's suspicion: The man's blood alcohol level was 0.15, nearly twice the legal threshold for drunken driving. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital for a blood test.
