Reading woman charged with shoplifting

A 59-year-old Reading resident faces a theft charge following a report of shoplifting about 2 p.m. Nov. 20 at a store in the 500 block of Penn Avenue in West Reading. She was charged with a single count of retail theft and jailed in lieu of $2,500 bail.
