A few hours earlier, at 10;35 p.m. Oct. 10, a Wyomissing police officer stopped a car for erratic driving at Route 222 and State Hill Road. The officer smelled pot and found the drug in the car. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence and faces charges.

Police find drugs in cars during separate traffic stops
Wyomissing police stopped a car for erratic driving about 12:21 a.m. Oct. 11 at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Route 222 in the borough. Both the driver and the passenger had heroin paraphernalia and now both face charges.
