Philadelphia man faces drunken-driving charges
West Reading police stopped a car about 2:44 a.m. Aug. 9 at Penn and South Third avenues in the borough. The officer suspected the driver was drunk. On Aug. 18 police charged the suspect, a 23-year-old Philadelphia man, with two counts of drunken driving and one count of failure to obey a traffic light.
