Strange behavior gets officer’s attention
A West Reading police officer noticed a man acting strangely about 8:50 p.m. July 24 near the intersection of South Fourth Avenue and Grape Street. The man stopped next to a vehicle, opened the driver’s door and relieved himself – in the street, not in the car. The officer approached the man and noticed he was drunk. After the man was arrested he became even more belligerent and it took a second officer to put him in the police car.
