Police receive multiple reports of pranks in Wyomissing

Shortly before 9 p.m. July 20 two boys killed time at the Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing by turning the escalators on and off. Mall security guards confronted the pranksters but they ran off before borough police arrived.

•About 9 p.m. a Wyomissing resident called police to report a vehicle driving past a home in the 1300 block of Old Mill Road, yelling at the people in the yard. Police stopped the car and took the two boys inside to headquarters, where they had to wait for their parents.

• A woman called police at 10:18 a.m. July 22 to report that her car had been egged over the past two nights in the 1500 block of Cleveland Avenue.
