Wyomissing police responded to a store just before 8 p.m. June 19 in the 1600 block of State Hill Road in the borough for a report of two women in custody for shoplifting. One of them reportedly stole $463.99 in merchandise, the other $93. Neither woman had outstanding warrants and were released. They face retail theft charges.
Earlier that evening, security officers in a store in the 1600 block of State Hill Road detained another woman accused of taking $82.93 in merchandise. She was cited and released.
