A vehicle heading south shortly before 9 p.m. June 18 on State Hill Road in Wyomissing plowed into a row of cars stopped for a red light at the intersection of Penn Avenue. The vehicle slammed into a second vehicle, which then sideswiped a third one and struck the back of a fourth var. Two people were hurt in the crash that also required three vehicles to be towed.
Wyomissing police arrested the driver of the first car on suspicion of drunken driving and took the driver to St. Joseph’s Hospital for a blood-alcohol test.
