Woman faces theft charges
A store manager called Wyomissing police about 8:47 p.m. Sept. 30 to report a theft at the store in the 1000 block of Woodland Road. The manager told police four women and a man stole items and fled from the store. Police tracked down all the suspects, releasing three of the women, who may face charges. The fourth suspect, a 40-year-old Philadelphia resident, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail. Police also recovered some of the stolen merchandise from the vehicle of the man they say was involved in the theft.
