Man torn between sending son to Haiti or jail
A Wyomissing resident called borough police about 10 a.m.. Oct. 4 about his son’s behavior. The young man broke in Saturday evening to the home where he and his father live in the first block of Wellington Boulevard. The father told police he was thinking about sending his son back to Haiti but wanted instead to have him sent to the juvenile detention center. A police officer told the man his son would have to be arrested for that to happen, and instead recommended counseling.
