Reading man faces charges stemming from Wyomissing traffic stop

Earlier this month Wyomissing police set up a DUI checkpoint at the intersection of Park Road and Penn Avenue. One of the cars that was stopped reportedly had marijuana, several cell phones and about $1,400 in cash inside the vehicle. Police arrested the driver.
The suspect, a 33-year-old Reading man, was charged Sept. 21 with two counts of drunken driving and one count of possession with intent to use drugs.

Another suspect arrested at the DUI checkpoint, a 20-year-old Reading man, was also charged Sept. 21 with two counts of drunken driving.
