Man charged with gun possession waives preliminary hearing

A 28-year-old Reading man could face a trial on charges of carrying a gun without a license and receiving stolen property. West Reading police arrested him after a traffic stop at 10:53 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 200 block of Penn Avenue. The suspect waived his preliminary hearing Sept. 10 and still faces the above charges, as well as speeding and driving with a suspended license.
