A car came to a stop shortly before 1 a.m. June 13 at the intersection of Thrush Road and Old Wyomissing Road.
Then it stayed there.
A Wyomissing police officer approached the car and found the driver to be intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital for a test of his blood-alcohol content.
