Belligerent caller threatens Wyomissing restaurant
Wyomissing police received complaints about a man making threatening calls to the owner of a restaurant in the borough. West Reading and Wyomissing police officers spoke with the suspect June 6 in the first block of South Second Avenue in West Reading. The man was described as belligerent, uncooperative and “visibly intoxicated,” according to the police report. Officers told the man not to call or visit the restaurant again, or face arrest. The suspect replied that he didn’t care and this is America. After repeated warnings from the officer, the man said he understood.
